Auto Tech II Student Profile
My name is Kendrick Lemon and I am 16 years old. I
am an Eleventh grader at Glen Oaks High School. I am currently
employed at South-West Engine & Automotive
Repair.
The Automotive Technician Program at Glen Oaks High School has inspired me
to work hard and work smart at everything I do. Since I have been in
the program, my family has noticed a big change in my attitude towards
life.
I would like to thank God first and foremost for giving us all a chance to
change ourselves. I would like to thank my family and friends for
letting me know that anything is possible. I would like to thank Mr.
Lyons for believing, not only in me, but all of his students. I
would like to thank the Bracket Masters Racing Team for showing us that
education goes farther than high school. I appreciate everything
that the team has shown us and done for us, and for taking time out of
their schedules to come see us. I would also like to thank the
people at South-West Engine & Automotive
Repair for teaching me things that I didn't know about engines and giving
me a chance to come and work for them.
May 2005 -
Kendrick entered Universal Technical Institute, automotive technology school
in Houston, TX at the start of the semester. He was awarded a SMART
scholarship of five hundred dollars.
