Marva were at the Holiday Helpers Race at State Capitol Raceway.
Houston was acting as crew chief for Marcus during his time trials.
Marva and their Godchild drew the winning ticket for the scooter raffle.

November 12, 2006 - Houston & Marva moved their
membership in Bracket Masters Racing Team to Honorary Membership.
Sept. 10, 2006 - Houston and
Marva attended the Louisiana Drag Classic
August 19, 2006 - Houston and
Marva, along with three other couples, are enjoying a weekend getaway in
Gulf Shores, AL. They are on the 10th floor of a resort hotel, looking
out over the Gulf of Mexico, and relaxing. They are enjoying the fine
sugar white beaches, swimming in the pool, sitting in the sun and looking
out over the calm waters of the Gulf. Houston says at night, when all
is calm, he enjoys listening to the waves break on the shore.
Houston also says, "Everybody that races should take a restful vacation and
think about all the money we spend on our cars!".
July 31-August 6, 2006 -
Houston is participating in a motorcycle trip
to Memphis, TN. The trip will last for a week. Over thirty
members of the Nubian Kruzers motorcycle club are on the trip.
June 18, 2006 - Houston and
Marva attended the team picnic and participated in the Father's Day Race at
State Capitol Raceway. Houston rode his "Gold Wing" and had it on
display in the spectator area, along with about 16 other bikes from the
Nubian Kruzers Motorcycle club.
May 4, 2006 - Houston
participated in the Career Day activities at Prescott Middle School.
March 18, 2006 - Houston
recently returned from Bike Speedweeks in Daytona Beach, Florida. His
motorcycle club, the Nubian Kruzers, took 20 bikes and a lot of other
friends and members over to the festivities. Houston rode his Gold
Wing on the 700 mile trip. Everyone had a very good time.
Houston has been busy
selling all of his drag racing equipment. He is not retiring, just
moving to another phase of his racing career. He has sold his big Ford
truck and today, he sold his trailer. The engine is for sale and he
may soon be looking for a buyer for the racecar. You can see all of

Sale listing here on the website. He has
also sold Marva's Camaro. He is looking for a 1969 Camaro bracket car
that he can put a mild engine into and go racing for fun.
