Robert Garner &
"Nita" Garner
Robert joined Bracket Masters Racing Team
in November 2006. Robert has been associated with the team for a very
long time. Earlier in this year, Robert and his son helped the
students at Glen Oaks High School Physical Science class to calculate Speed,
Velocity and Acceleration by driving his S-10 truck over a measured 60 meter
course while the students timed each 20 meter interval of the run.

Robert attended the Toys for Katrina
Kids Race at State Capitol Raceway in November 2006. Robert escorted
12 young men and women from an alternative school in Baton Rouge. Most
of the kids had never been to a drag strip. Mr. Reggie Jackson and Mr.
Garner gave the kids an overview of what happens during the course of the
day and explained the track layout. Included in the presentation, the
kids were allowed to act as the pit crew for the Bracket Masters Jr.
Dragster. The kids were taken up into the tower, where they were given
a tour and told about the electronic timing systems and the computers that
run eliminations.
Mr. Garner had his new car at the track
for display. The car is a very fine looking Monte Carlo.
