          Wallace Keese

Skip's young Friend, Wallace Keese, occasionally drove Masterpiece during the 1992-1994 racing seasons.  Wallace is a avid drag racing fan who now lives in Warner-Robbins, GA.
Wallace is one the Country's top education administrators and college recruiters of the nations top scholars.  Wallace was hired away from Clemson University in 1992 by Louisiana State University (LSU) in Baton Rouge, LA to fill one of their top administrative positions.  It was not long before his talents were recognized by The College Board, and Wallace accepted their offer and moved to Atlanta with his family.
In 1999 Wallace wrote these words on the back of a photograph of his Super Chevy award winning Impala: "Words can't express enough the appreciation that I have for the friendship you have offered me since 1992.  I will always cherish the moments we shared together "turning wrenches" and competing as a team.  You're one of a kind!  God Bless, Sincerely, Wallace Keese".
Thanks go out to Wallace Keese and his family, his wife "Rusty", son Adam and daughter Danielle are all real friends.
During the Awards Ceremony at the LADC 2002, Wallace surprised Skip with a phone call to give him congratulations and best wishes.  It was really nice talking to my old friend.  Thanks Wallace.  Wallace could not attend because he was moving to a new upper management position. at Fort Valley State College.  Congratulations Wallace, still on the move!
2/7/03 - Wallace was hired by Ft. Valley State College, in Macon, GA.  They have asked him to come and work in their admissions program.  The new President of the college, who is a old friend of Wallace's from his days at LSU, asked him to come and work in his admissions program.  Wallace is still under contract to The College Board.  Mrs. Rusty Keese, has assumed the office of Director of Financial Aid at Ft. Valley State College.  Congratulations again to the whole family.
July 3, 2004 - Suprise, suprise!  Wallace and 12 year old son, Adam Keese stopped in to say hello.  We had a wonderful visit, talking over old times and looking over the new car.  It has been almost two years since I have seen Wallace.  He and the family are enjoying their activities at Fort Valley State College.
