Willie Davis

Assistant Secretary
Willie joined Bracket Masters
Racing Team in August 2006. Willie is Army retired, and now works in
the U. S. Postal Service. He served 20 years in the Army, retiring in
January 1993. He has worked for the Postal Service since 2003.
Willie currently drives a early
model Duster in
the Non-Electronic Class.
Dec. 19, 2009 - Willie "Mailman" Davis attended the BMRT Christmas Party,
held at the WBR Parish Community Center, Dec. 17, 2009.
Willie was awarded a trophy for team participation by team President, Tarrus Jones.
June 21, 2009 - Father's Day Race - Willie participated with his Duster. The car looked good and ran very well. Willie has worked hard to be able to make a good showing at this years rece. Congratulations Willie!
November 23, 2008 - Willie headed the nomination committee to select new officers for Bracket Masters Racing Team. Willie Davis is the new Assistant Secretary. Congratulations to Willie.
June 15, 2008 - Willie attended the Father's Day Race at State Capitol Raceway.
Nov. 11-12, 2007 - Willie worked
selling team T-shirts, jackets and raffle tickets during the Holiday Helpers
Race at State Capitol Raceway.
June 17, 2007 - Willie had his
Duster out at the Father's Day Race, but mechanical troubles put him back on
the trailer. Willie found some bent pushrods, but did not go into the
engine at the track. He will work on troubleshooting during the next
few weeks.
12/17/06 - Willie was not able to
come to the team dinner meeting due to illness of his Father, who is in
Florida. His Father is on life-support. Willie will remain in
Florida to be with his Father until further notice. Please pray for
the Davis family in their time of need. (Willie's Father passed away).
