Willie Beathley owns his Allstate Insurance Agency in Baton Rouge, LA and it is truly a "Family Affair".  Wife Elois and Son Jeremy are agents in the office.

Jeremy Beathley is the driver of one of the two race cars in the family.  This father and son racing team won two Street Class first place trophies in their first full racing season in 2000.  James Moore is the Carburetor Man for all of Willie's cars and was the driver for their 1st trophy win.  The 1979 El Camino pictured on the right is also a Show Car and has placed in the top three in various car shows.  This car drew many praises in St. Louis at the annual Black Sunday race in September 2000.  Their 1980 Malibu Wagon is new for 2001 and is in the test and tune stage.  It has new SBC with plenty of power!

Willie gets his name, "The El Camino Man", from his stock of El Camino parts and bodies he has collected over the years.  He found a market for used El Camino parts after he fell in love with them many years ago and had trouble finding parts.  Now he has various models and many parts for sale.  Willie will buy your old El Camino to take it off your hands.

Willie is a very talented and successful business man. He is a member of the Baton Rouge Rotary Club and joined Bracket Masters Racing Team in March of 2000.

Willie is Chairperson of the Programs Committee, and sets the standard for all committee chairpersons to follow.  He hit the ground running after joining to help Bracket Masters raise a considerable sum of money to fund the 1st "Louisiana Drag Classic". Willie's fund raising abilities are unsurpassed in the club and is one of his many assets.  Because of Willie's efforts, we were able to provide giveaway prizes to the racers throughout the two day race.  The 50 Steak Dinners for two, from the Cajun Circus Casino, proved to be the most sort after prize of the day.  Willie also received several $50.00 Tune-ups from Benny's Automotive to give away and Clausen's Racing provided gift certificates for racing parts.

Automotive Services (John Jackson), Brian Harris Chevrolet,  Gerry Lane Enterprises and Mikes Trailer Depot contributed various items or services to help make our race a success.  There were other contributors and sponsors, but these were all credited to Willie.

Engine Parts of Baton Rouge provided the give-away bags, and some of the various items to go in them.  The Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce provided booklets and handouts telling about the area. These were provided to every guest as they entered our "Hospitality Night" on the Friday before the race.  Coca Cola Bottling and Mockler Brewing (Bud) provided the beverages. Willie arranged for the Cajun Flavor food that was the hit of the night.

Willie sold the 2nd. highest amount of raffle tickets in the "New Orleans Getaway Weekend" raffle, which netted him the $100.00 second prize in a separate club members only contest.

Willie has a desire to help kids.  He is a wonderful role model.  He has been a tutor and talked to many High School classes on  getting started in business.  He thinks drag racing is a highway to education through learning the skills needed to design, build, market, sell, maintain and repair automobiles and automobile services.  He would like to see Bracket Masters Racing Team acquire two Jr. Dragsters and sponsor boys and girls to learn to work on the little dragsters and to become drivers.  Drag Racing is a family sport.
